Author: Sean Corfield (All RIAForge projects by this author) Description:
Edmund provides a core event-driven model framework and workflow components to allow a more event-based, asynchronous approach to developing ColdFusion applications. The event model allows for code that is very similar to how Flex developers manage events.
XML now supports announce (Mach-II style) and results / result (Model-Glue style). Events now have an original "request name" that is not affected by announce / results when chaining event sequences. Now features a specification suite, written with cfSpec, that outlines the expected behavior of parts of Edmund. This will be expanded over time but can act as a starting point for documentation.
